This article details how to access different Wasabi storage regions from third-party storage applications. Wasabi's first storage region in us-east is accessed via these parameters:
Service URL: s3.wasabisys.com
Starting on 24 June 2018, Wasabi supports a second storage region (us-west-1) that is accessed via these parameters:
Service URL: s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com
If you are using a storage app that allows you to explicitly specify the service URL, then you should enter in the service URL of the Wasabi region you wish to use. If you are using a storage app that has a pre-configured entry for Wasabi, then you should be aware that this entry is likely pointing to s3.wasabisys.com (us-east). Wasabi is reaching out to all third-party storage app developers to make them aware of this new Wasabi region with the hope that they will adapt their storage app to support the new Wasabi region.
If you were previously using a pre-configured entry for Wasabi with your storage app and you wish to connect this app to Wasabi us-west, you can try to use a generic S3-connector option in this app (if available). The generlc S3-connector options often let you manually enter in the service URL.
