How do I use Equinix Metal with Wasabi?

Equinix Metal is a leading provider of public cloud compute services. Wasabi has partnered with Equinix Metal for a joint compute + storage solution that is described here.   In several regional locations including Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Paris, Sydney and Toronto, Wasabi is deployed in the same Equinix data center complex as Equinix Metal.  For other Wasabi locations, Wasabi supports direct private network connectivity via Equinix Fabric to Equinix Metal data centers.  This ensures that the combination of Equinix Metal compute + Wasabi storage provides you with a low-cost, high-performing, and secure compute + storage infrastructure.

Equinix Metal compute resources can be used to host storage and other applications that can connect to Wasabi.  Equinix Metal is not a storage application itself so there is no native S3 interface on Equinix Metal.  Instead, you can host your applications on Equinix Metal and configure those applications to point to Wasabi using a S3 interface.  Please contact us with any questions about Equinix Metal + Wasabi.
